players within UBUNTU

1. install mplayer/kmplayer(xine)

2. install libdvdcss, w32codecs, by adding follow repository to /etc/apt/source.list
deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ feisty free non-free

3. mplayer 的video用x11(x11/ximag/shm)
audio用alsa.

4. xine播放rmvb没有声音的话
试试编辑~/.xine/catalog.cache文件
找到
[/usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.1.4/xineplug_decode_real_audio.so]
把decoder_priority增加到10

5. music用amarok

6. install totem-xine会替换自带的totem-gstreamer.
